CFP: Access Services Conference 2016, Unlocking the 21st Century Library (Atlanta, Georgia November 2016)

Access Services Conference 2016, Unlocking the 21st Century Library
On behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee, we would like to invite you to submit a proposal for the Access Services Conference 2016, Unlocking the 21st Century Library.  This year's event will be held at The Global Learning Center and Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia from November 16-18, 2016.

The Access Services Conference is an opportunity for individuals working in all areas of Access Services in libraries to gather information and communicate with other professionals about Circulation, Reserves, Interlibrary Loan, Student Worker Management, Security, Stacks Maintenance, and other topics of interest. 

We invite program and poster proposals until 5pmMay 6, 2016. Accepted programs should be able to fit within a 45 minute segment including time for questions.  Posters will be presented in a dedicated poster session.  Proposals might focus on any of the following areas:

  • Customer Service Circulation
  • Interlibrary Loan
  • Consortia Agreements
  • Electronic Resources and Access Services
  • Leadership
  • Marketing
  • Reserves
  • Security
  • Space Management
  • Stacks Maintenance
  • Student Worker Management
  • Current Technology for Access Service   Enhancement


Program Proposal guidelines:
Please submit an abstract, 150 words or less, with the program or poster title and your name.  Session and poster proposals will be reviewed by the program committee and those presenters who are selected will be notified by May 27, 2016.  Go to http://accessservicesconference.org/present/call-for-proposals/ to submit your proposal.
