Atlanta Area Bibliographic Instruction Group (AABIG) welcomes conference proposals for the 2018 AABIG Conference to be held on June 8, 2018, at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. (This annual conference is free to conference registrants, making it a great draw to libraries, librarians, and students with limited budgets.)
Proposals can be for a:
- 45 minute presentation (including Q&A)
- 20 minute presentation (including Q&A)
- poster session
This year’s theme is:
Instruction Near and Far: Engaging Our Audiences Where They Are
We encourage librarians to present on innovations in library instruction having to do with
- distance learning
- the flipped classroom
- online tutorials
- learning technologies
- using badges and/or gaming
- social media
- other related topics
