2015 NCIUG Call for Proposals
Deadline: September 1, 2015
The 2015 NCIUG Annual Conference will be held Friday, November 20 at the Berkeley Public Library.
Please consider submitting a proposal for a poster session, Birds of a Feather, or a presentation. Presentations could be up to an hour, a panel discussion, or shorter talks. We welcome proposals related to all types of libraries: public, academic, school, law, special and corporate.
In addition to presentations by III staff and one-hour concurrent breakout sessions, this year we would like to offer a poster session. We invite you to showcase your ideas and achievements so we can all learn and share within the Northern California III community.
Presentation and poster topics could include (but are not limited to):
• Tips and tricks for those new to III
• Meeting challenges and changes in acquisitions, cataloging, systems, access/circulation, reference, etc.
• Analytics and reporting using SQL, Decision Center or Web Management Reports
• Innovative uses of Sierra, Millennium or Polaris tools
Please use the online form at http://goo.gl/forms/ymGD2m6j8t to submit proposals by September 1, 2015. Presenters will be notified of proposal acceptance by September 30. Inquiries may be sent to the planning committee chairs, Vanessa Walden (vwalden@marincounty.org) and Erika Johnson (eljohnson5@usfca.edu).
