The MIX conference is a one-day, casual gathering of instructional ideas and perspectives. Morning and afternoon concurrent sessions will cover topics of information literacy instruction as they relate to five major academic disciplines. Proposals will be selected on the basis of discipline alignment, innovation, and relevance to information literacy instruction. Possible subjects could include (but are not limited to):
Unique or innovative lesson plans
Classroom collaborations with faculty or beyond
Connecting with discipline faculty to promote or develop IL instruction
For consideration, please submit your name, institution, contact info, position, title of presentation, and abstract (150 word maximum) to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 30, 2014. Presenters will be notified of proposal acceptance by May 15, 2014.
