Journal of Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery & Electronic Reserve

Call for Papers: New LIS Student Column

The Journal of Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery & Electronic Reserve is currently seeking papers for a new column featuring student writing. The column gathers articles from LIS students on their experiences and knowledge of library services including interlibrary loan, document delivery, reserves, on demand digitization and purchasing, and distance learning services.  Submissions to the column should be from 1000-3000 words and follow the formatting guidelines for manuscript submissions.  No abstract is required for column submissions.

In the interest of encouraging scholarly communication and publishing among librarians and library practitioners, the Journal of Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery & Electronic Reservedeveloped a webinar to introduce LIS master's students to writing and publishing.  Click here to view the video.

Students are invited to submit on or before February 26, 2014 for the Spring 2014 publication and May 6, 2014 for the Summer 2014 publication. Librarians and LIS department faculty are encouraged to forward this message on to students.  Electronic submissions should be sent to the journal’s ScholarOne website at:
