CFP: Journal of Business & Finance Librarianship

The Journal of Business & Finance Librarianship is seeking original manuscripts (e.g. articles, studies, etc.) and reviews (of databases, websites, books and/or data sets) for publication in future issues. JBFL also wants to add to our group of esteemed peer reviewers.

Here are a few options:
  • Already working on a study or other research related to business and finance librarianship? Write it up and submit your paper: https://tandfonline.com/toc/wbfl20/current (click on “Submit an article). Even if you’re not currently working on a specific research project, we can suggest some potential topics.
  • You can’t have blind peer review without a team of excellent peer reviewers. Become a peer reviewer and read and comment upon original articles and have a voice in what ultimately gets published in your field. Your hard work may ultimately result in a seat on the JBFL Editorial Board!
  • Want to be an author but not quite ready to dive into a full study or original manuscript? Become a writer of reviews of business research databases or books or data sets or web sites. (Products recently reviewed include Forrester, Mergent Intellect and ProQuest’s Business Premium Collection).

If you are interested in any or all of these options please reach out to JBFL Editor-in-Chief Celia Ross at caross@umich.edu to brainstorm on opportunities for getting involved in this corner of the scholarly communications world.

The Journal of Business & Finance Librarianship is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal covering topics related to business information and business researchers.
