What exactly is the
purpose of a job description? How does it relate to your day-to-day work as an
academic librarian? What exactly do they mean by "other duties as
assigned"? The ACRL New Members Discussion Group (NMDG) is seeking
speakers for our up-coming ALA Annual panel discussion where they will discuss
job descriptions for academic librarians.
The discussion will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 10:30am-12:00pm
at DIS-Monorail B & C.
