Have writer's block? Hopefully this resource will help librarians identify publishing and presentation opportunities in library & information science, as well as other related fields. I will include calls for papers, presentations, participation, reviewers, and other relevant notices that I find on the web. If you find anything to be posted, please drop me a note. thanks -- Corey Seeman, University of Michigan(cseeman@umich.edu)

IUG at ALA Midwinter 2012 - Details and Call for Presentations
IUG at ALA Midwinter 2012 - Details and Call for Presentations
For those of you who are planning to be in Dallas on January 20th, 2012, please consider joining us for the IUG Business Meeting from 2-5pm at the Omni Dallas Hotel (room TBA - http://www.omnihotels.com/findahotel/DallasHotel.aspx). There is no cost for the meeting and you do not need to register for ALA. 10 gallon hats are optional.
As always we plan to have 3 or 4 presentations in addition to the business meeting. If you are interested in presenting - for instance if you want to do a dry run of the presentation you are planning for IUG annual (hint hint) - please let me know. Singles, duos and groups are all welcome and presentations can be 30 minutes or 1 hour long.
Please email me with your idea at afifarek@scottsdaleaz.gov. Also, if you don't think you can present but would like to suggest a topic that you'd like to hear about at the meeting let me know.
Thanks! Looking forward to seeing everyone in Dallas. - Aimee
