Call for proposals: ALCTS MIG Metadata Interest Group at ALA Mid-Winter.
The ALCTS Metadata Interest Group is seeking proposals for presentations
at its ALA Midwinter meeting in Dallas, TX on Sunday, January 22, 2012
from 8:00 am - 10:00 am.
Presentations on aspects of video digitization and metadata are welcome. Possible topics could include but are not limited to:
* Issues with technical metadata related to digital video
* Descriptive metadata schemata for digital video
* Workflows and team structures as they relate to video digitization projects
Presentations should be approximately 30 minutes in length. To submit a
proposal for presentation, please email a brief description of your
proposed topic to the current vice-chair of the Metadata Interest Group,
Teressa Keenan (teressa.keenan@umontana.edu) , by Friday, November 4,
2011.
