CFP: Library Hi Tech News

As the editor of Library Hi Tech News, I  invite all librarians to consider writing an article for Library Hi Tech News (LHTN).

LHTN focuses on practical or innovative uses of technologies in libraries and reaches a  global network of readers including tech-savvy librarians as well as to librarians in developing countries.   LHTN has moved to article level publishing, so as soon as your article is accepted, and goes through copy editing and proofs (usually one month), it is PUBLISHED online with a DOI that can be cited.   It will then be assigned to the next open issue (10 issues per year).   LHTN has a liberal open access policy known as Green Open Access, i.e. you or your library can archive your paper and extend its impact.  Downloads of articles continue to rise each year.

LHTN can be an easy way to get started with publishing.   If you've presented a poster or unpublished paper at a local or national meeting, write it up as an article and extend greatly the number of librarians who will learn about the exciting things you are doing.    Find more information on LHTN at http://www.emeraldgrouppublishing.com/products/journals/journals.htm?id=lhtn
I hope you are interested!   Some ideas for papers are listed below which might also spark ideas of your own.   If you have any questions regarding this opportunity, please contact me at martyk@lscarletmail.rutgers.edu.    Please also note that manuscripts should be submitted online at https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/lhtn.   I look forward to hearing from you!
