50 Makerspace Projects for Libraries – Official Call for Contributors

CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS

We are seeking contributing authors who would like to author projects in an upcoming book 50 Makerspace Projects for Libraries, edited by Ellyssa Kroski to be published by The American Library Association.

50 Makerspace Projects for Libraries will be an all-in-one recipe book for makerspace programming that will be chock-full of practical project ideas for libraries, each submitted by librarians.  Projects will range in cost, topic, and difficulty as well as space requirements so there will be something for every size and type of library, even those without makerspaces!  Projects will run the gamut from sewing projects, crafts, and cardboard, to high-tech robotics and virtual reality.  Each project will include step-by-step instructions, a materials and equipment list, as well as learning outcomes, and suggestions for next projects.  This is a title which every library will want to have in their collection.

Publication Date: Late 2017/Early 2018
