Have writer's block? Hopefully this resource will help librarians identify publishing and presentation opportunities in library & information science, as well as other related fields. I will include calls for papers, presentations, participation, reviewers, and other relevant notices that I find on the web. If you find anything to be posted, please drop me a note. thanks -- Corey Seeman, University of Michigan(cseeman@umich.edu)

Call for Articles: Acquisitions and Transformation (Against the Grain)
Call for Articles: Acquisitions and Transformation (Against the Grain)
In an environment of rapidly changing technology, evolving user expectations, and ongoing budgetary pressure, both practical and strategic approaches to acquisitions are being constantly challenged. Now more than ever, adaptive and innovative ideas applied to the acquisition of library content are impacting how (and sometimes what) we collect.
If you are interested in contributing an article on the topic of "Acquisitions and Transformation" to the February 2013 issue of Against the Grain, please contact guest editor Jesse Holden (jholden@usc.edu). A variety of perspectives — including those from libraries, publishers, and vendors — on the topic of "transformation" are welcome and encouraged!
