Call for Presentations: Affiliates Showcase at ALA Annual 2012 in Anaheim,
California.
How was the state conference this year? See a great
program or put one on that got rave reviews?? Let everyone else get a chance to
see it. You have already done the hard
work of putting together a great program and even presented it at least once.
Volunteer to present it during the Affiliates Showcase.
Affiliates Showcase is a new program from the Affiliate
Relations Committee (formerly Council of Regional Groups, CRG), a new division
committee of ALCTS. We want to bring the fantastic and informative
presentations we see at our state and regional meetings to ALA Annual.
Presentations can be either a repeat of the program given
on the local level (up to 30 minutes), an abridged version of it, or even just
a poster session about it.
We put out a call for presentations earlier, but many of
you had not gone to your conferences yet. This is a reminder to pull that
presentation off the shelf and do it again or tell us about someone who did a
great job and we will contact them about doing it again.
Take pride in the hard work you do and get recognized for
it at ALA Annual.
