CFP: Community & Junior College Libraries - Special Issue: Bibliographic Instruction and Information Literacy
Community College Libraries and Learning Resource Centers have long fostered innovative programs in Bibliographic Instruction and Information Literacy. CJCL is seeking articles on all aspects of Bibliographic Instruction and Information Literacy, as well as the use of technology in the library, which may include, but are not limited to:
• Embedded librarianship/instruction
• Educational Technologies
• Instruction at the point of service/need
• Virtual instruction and reference
• Application(s) of the ACRL Information Literacy Competency Standards
Submission should be sent to the editor, Wendell Johnson, at wjohnso1@niu.edu. The deadline for submission is January 31st, 2012.
Community & Junior College Libraries is also seeking an Associate Editor for the 2012 volume year. Responsibilities of the Associate Editor include:
• Soliciting high-quality manuscripts from potential authors and assisting these authors in seeing their manuscripts to publication
• Assisting in the administration of the peer-review process
• Deciding which manuscripts to publish
• Providing a clear vision for the direction of the journal
• Assisting with overall management of the journal
