Call for Lightning Talk Proposals: “Inclusive Entrepreneurship” (ELC winter workshop, Dec. 2)

The Entrepreneurship and Libraries Conference<https://entrelib.org/> (ELC) is hosting a half-day online event on Dec. 2, 2021 (1:00 - 4:30 pm EST) on the topic "Inclusive  Entrepreneurship: A workshop on how librarians support entrepreneurship as a pathway to economic justice, empowerment, and a counter to systemic racism"

The scope of the workshop includes:
  1. Understanding and overcoming systemic barriers and challenges;
  2. Engaging with BIPOC entrepreneurs and/or historically-excluded entrepreneurs (for-profit and nonprofit) in our communities and campuses.
The workshop will include 5 lightning talks, 7-minutes each.

Everyone is welcome to submit an idea for a lightning talk. The ELC continues to be a gathering place for academic, public, and special librarians, as well as entrepreneurial ecosystem partners, via our free online events. We seek a diverse set of speakers.

The format for the workshop will be similar to that of our spring 2021 cannabis entrepreneurship workshop<https://entrelib.org/workshop-at-a-glance/>, with keynotes, a panel discussion, lightning rounds, and a lightly moderated open discussion.

Proposal submission deadline: October 22, 2021.
