Short on time, but big on ideas? Exhibit a poster presentation at the fall 2012 Depository Library Council Meeting and Federal Depository Library Conference: Celebrating the Past, Building the Future Together (Meeting & Conference).
Is your library involved in an innovative project highlighting Government documents? Has your library initiated any new services or programming for Government documents? Have you developed anything new to promote the FDLP? Do you have any best practices to share?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions but don’t have time to create a full educational session at the fall Meeting & Conference, then GPO has the solution for you.
Share you expertise with your colleagues in the FDLP community by creating a poster presentation for display. Tell us about your initiative; include photographs and/or handouts to share with your colleagues throughout the four-day event. These poster presentations can cover any topic related to Government documents that will be of interest to the FDLP community.
Just bring any photos or handouts to include on the poster to the Meeting & Conference; GPO will supply standard-sized poster boards and supplies for you to put together your poster upon your arrival.
Submit your proposals to GPO for poster presentations. Be sure to indicate “poster” under the “type of session” category on the form.
