CFP: 2007 Online Information Conference (London)

2007 Call for Speakers:

I would like to invite you to submit a speaking proposal for the 2007 Online
Information Conference taking place from 4-6 December in the Olympia
Conference Centre, London.

2007 is already proving to be a year of momentous change in the Online world
as Web 2.0 moves into the mass market. It is increasing its hold on
business, academia and government and extending its reach in our homes,
mobile lives and relationships in ways that even a couple of years ago would
have been unthinkable.

This year's conference will help business, academia and government to take
up the challenge of this new Online world, blending traditional and new
services to give a new mix for a new era. And YOU can be a part of it.

Do you have a story to tell?

* Have you been involved in a leading-edge web 2.0 project which has made an impact?
* Has your university changed its practices to embrace new ways of teaching?
* Has your library been able to use some of the new tools to involve a wider community?
* Has traditional "search" had its day in your organisation, replaced by "socially mediated retrieval"?
* Has your organisation evolved new ethics and behaviours to cope with the change?
* Have you found the winning business model?

Whatever your results, why not share your story with others?

Whether you work in big business, small business, academia or the public
sector, good ideas are invariably transferable and we need to hear them.
The Online world is waiting to learn from the pioneers who have made it
work. This is your chance to be seen as one of the leaders - with your
story reaching a global audience from over 43 countries.
