CFP: Teaching & Learning Section in The American Business Librarianship Review (Open Access Journal)

Call for Submissions
Ticker: The American Business Librarianship Review
Teaching & Learning Section
Deadline: January 31, 2020

Aim & Scope:

The Teaching & Learning section of Ticker: The American Business Librarianship Review is focused on business reference, instruction, and/or information literacy in a business context (theory, practice, or method) in academic libraries. The scope of this section is on teaching and learning activities that can inform or invite dialogue about efforts to assist patrons in the attainment of information literacy skills or the engagement of learners in critical thinking and creative problem solving.


Guidelines for Submission:

The editors seek submissions in the following two categories:
*  Research articles that aim to provide original scholarship. These submissions will go through a blind, peer-review process.
*  Case studies that are reflective and provide best practices and/or implementation strategies. These submissions should be written in an academic tone (3rd person).

Content can include links, graphics, and should be in English. Suggested word length is 3,000-4,000 words for case studies.


Manuscript Format:
*  Authors should prepare an abstract of 300 words or less and a minimum of three keywords.
*  Manuscripts should follow the conventions of the American Psychological Association (6th edition).
*  URLs should be provided.
*  Submission should be single spaced, in 12-point font, Times New Roman, with 1" margins on all sides.
*  You must obtain permission for any third party material used.

Submission Process:

Please ensure that your manuscript has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Decisions on accepted papers will be conveyed to authors by February 28, 2020. Subject to satisfactory revision, accepted papers will be published in the June 2020 issue of Ticker.
