2011 Eastern Great Lakes IUG Proposal submission deadline is almost here
The Planning Committee is pleased to extend complimentary registrations to presenters for this year’s conference. Don’t worry, it’s not too late for you to be a presenter too! Please consider sharing your Innovative experiences with our group (and spend the rest of the day learning from all the other spectacular presentations at no charge).
The Eastern Great Lakes Innovative Users Group invites you to present your ideas, experiences, and views on the various modules of the Innovative Interfaces system at our annual meeting being held Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Holiday Inn and Roberts Conference Centre (http://www.robertscentre.com) in Wilmington, OH.
We need your valuable expertise to make this regional conference a success! This is the ideal opportunity to beta test a presentation for next year at IUG 2012 or to revisit some of the hot topics from IUG 2011 (eBook management, patron driven acquisitions, green print templates and workflows, texting call numbers, QR code applications, RDA on a budget, library apps, SearchOhio/OhioLINK partnership and more)
* Presentations for all levels of experience across all modules and Innovative products are welcomed
* Proposals may take the form of programs, panel discussions, forums, and demonstrations
* Have an idea, but don't think you could devote a full 60 minutes to it? Submit a proposal for a 15-30 minute presentation for our “Lightning Round”
* “Birds of a Feather” (BoF) sessions, which take the form of informal discussions on a particular topic, module or issue(s) may also be proposed
