The rapid growth of information technology has thrown up enormous opportunities in the field of library science, especially digital libraries (DL). Seeing the potential of leveraging this tool for learning and bridging the knowledge gap, TERI’s Library and Information Centre has already conducted two international conferences on digital libraries since the year 2004. It is now proposed to host the third such conference from 23–26 February in 2010 organized by TERI in partnership with IGNOU and ISIM .

We invite you to submit your proposal for presentation and tutorial at ICDL 2010.


Objectives

· Provide a platform and enable interaction among DL experts and researchers
· Facilitate creation adoption, implementation and utilization of DL‘s, and their future implications
· Bridging the digital divide through knowledge sharing

Call for papers

Original papers focusing on the theme of the conference—Digital Libraries: Shaping the Information Paradigm are invited for the conference poster and tutorial. Some of the topics are listed below:
