CFP: Intentional Teaching Online: Using Instructional Design to Enhance Distance Library Education (Distance Learning Section ACRL for ALA Annual)

The Distance Learning Section (DLS) of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) is seeking conference panelists to share best practices of instructional design for the American Library Association Annual Conference to be held in San Francisco, California in June 2015. The DLS program is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2015.

The program will be a panel entitled "Intentional Teaching Online: Using
Instructional Design to Enhance Distance Library Education." The committee is
seeking presentations that speak to effective instructional design principles,
both in theory and practice. Each panel member will present for fifteen
minutes, followed by a Q&A.

The application process includes a description of your instructional design
experience, and a synopsis of your planned presentation for our panel.
Proposals are due Monday, November 30, 2014 with a decision to be made by
mid-December.
